Anti Corruption Education

We all know that corruption has penetrated and has been covering almost all sectors of life which is very complex and varied. In addition, a phenomenon of corruption, including corruption and social corruption of a small scale. Many factors that support the occurrence of corruption, but very little empirical data in research that can explain the causes of corruption. Corruption can occur either because the motivation of individuals and groups to enrich themselves and the opportunity to do corruption. With a big power and lasts a long time, can often influence people to take action to corruption. Corruption itself, in general, have recognized the negative impact on the development of a country. Already there is evidence of corruption has a negative impact on economic development, for example, with lower interest investment. Corruption has become a barrier for economic growth and poverty eradication.

Corruption can be defined as an act of abuse of power / authority that harm the public, for personal and group interests. Corruption is also defined as "abuse of public power for personal gain" is the abuse of power from public officials or other parties associated with them, as opposed to the moral, the values that exist in society and law, to enrich themselves.

While collusion is a conspiracy or joint venture between the state or country and other parties who harm other people, society, and / or state. Nepotism is doing for the sake of family or friends on the interests of the community, state and nation.

One of the strategies or efforts to tackle corruption is to do "Law Reform" (the law). Various device law and legislation and policies designed to combat corruption or address. However, the steps that are required for eradication of corruption and not only of the law can. In practice integral approach is needed in response to corruption strategy, not only in the sense of law, but also from political, administrative, social, cultural and moral. In addition to reforms in all areas of life, each person must move together with all the ways to tackle and eradicate corruption. Mass media should serve as the media or means of control, because good governance can only be achieved if one of the civilians who have a room big enough to engage and supervise the way of government.

One form of corruption is through education both formal and informal education. This business has even tried in some countries with a well facilitated by the World Bank and International Transparancy involving school children from early age until adulthood.

Efforts to tackle corruption must be integral to the approach and strategy to cover all aspects of the reform. Educate, it is generally understood as a way to set up and help someone to achieve the goal of life, which became fully human, and perfect happiness. Prevention of corruption can be done through means of education and information with the values of anti-corruption students expected moral man, and even responsible to build their lives and form a nation. Formal values of anti-corruption can be done in schools. In schools, for example, efforts can be made "School as a Corruption Free Zone"; organizing competitions like poster making, cartoon / caricature, poetry, popular science writing, drama, and other activities such as anti-corruption campaign; establishing anti-corruption clubs, seminars set small, discussion, role-play, conduct focus group discussion (case study, create a film scenario, etc.) together with friends, teachers, parents, and others.; enter values in the anti-corruption school curriculum . And also need to practice honesty as a cafeteria, the class of anti-corruption, and others.

In addition to the consideration, there are several considerations why the younger generation, especially school education route, be educated to understand, understand and implement the values of anti corruption. First, we must realize that some of the experiences of corruption are also experienced by the younger generation. At the same time young people can become victims of corruption, the corruption, or participates or is involved corruption cases, and may very well be that the attitude towards corruption. Second, we can see that the younger generation in history has a stock or as key-actors in the process of reform, renewal, political, social and development .. or a movement going on in our country. Third, as the younger generation has all the potential, creativity, energy, take part in the general power to become "agents Transformation" or "agent of change" and specifically to combat corruption.

How values anti-corruption education will be delivered in school? How the model must be selected and used and the method or how to deliver? success to inculcate the values of anti-corruption will also be affected by way of delivery and learning approach used.

There is a problem in inculcate values anti-corruption to the younger generation. Dilemma that can be seen. What is right, what is reasonable, if we want to teach the values of good to the children or young people? To teach the values of anti-corruption against children, which means that we will practice honesty, simplicity, honesty, transparency, justice for our own and together with the children.
